TREE OF LIFE is a multi-format audiovisual experience
based on the music by Human Spiral,
an experimental rock band from Mexico.
This project was produced by Dessignare.Studio from the conceptualization of the audiovisual show considering a special design that could be configured in different projection setups and thus have the possibility of being presented in multiple events and formats.

MULTIFORMAT AUDIOVISUAL SHOW
Currently TREE OF LIFE has 4 main versions:
* FULLDOME - 360x180 fulldome format for projection in digital domes
* LIVE DOME MAPPING - Projection on the surface of the dome
* VIRTUAL REALITY - 360x360 version for viewing in VR devices
* SCULPTURE PROJECTION - Video projection on sculpture in scenography
LIVE PERFORMANCE MAPPING SHOWS
Sharing culture in innovative ways. Celebrating nightw of astral observation with a special show filled with vibrant colors. The music is interpreted in synchrony with projected visuals while the story of the universal Tree of Life is narrated.
CONCEPT
The Mayan Universe is composed of three planes or comic regions governed by different deities that manifest different types of energy.
The three worlds are intimately related and are part of the great Cosmic Tree or axis of the universe, which raises its crown to embrace the heavens and plunges its roots into the depths of the underworld.
Through this “tree of life” it is possible to transit from one region to another, it is the way that communicates and interweaves everything that exists.
Locomoción invited us to celebrate the Night of the Stars in Mexico City with the projection of our video mapping show on the dome of the Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium.
VIRTUAL CONCERTS FOR FULLDOME AND VR
This version proposes an immersive experience that can be viewed on virtual reality devices and can also be projected on immersive dome systems such as mobile planetariums and geodesic domes.
The experience is now available for distribution in virtual reality devices, live streaming applications and digital dome systems.
This artistic show mixes music and animation as part of the catalogue of Dessignare New Media Experiences, special shows in multiple formats followed creative workshops.
This project was presented at FONIMA Virtual Festival during the pandemic.

SCULPTURE MAPPING + LIVE PERFOMANCE
This video mapping version was developed especially for the concert by the band Human Spiral, presented live during the ARS Art and Culture Festival organized by Rombo Negro.
